Welcome to the Tech for Everyone Teacher Community. This is a place for K-8 teachers to swap what actually works in the classroom. A few ground rules keep it useful and safe.

1. Never post student names or photos

This is our one firm rule. Do not include student first names, last names, initials that identify a student, usernames, or photos and videos of students (including links to them). Describe students generically instead: "one of my 4th graders," "a student who finished early," "two kids in my ELL group." If you post something that looks like it might identify a student, the site will show a gentle reminder before you publish. Moderators will remove anything that slips through.

2. Share specifics, not just opinions

The most helpful posts say what grade you taught, what lesson or module you used, how long it took, what worked, and what flopped. Use the How I used it template when you can. Flops are just as valuable as wins.

3. Ask clearly and mark the answer

When you ask a question, include your grade band, product, and device setup. When a reply solves it, click Mark as accepted answer so the next teacher finds the fix in seconds.

4. Be kind and assume good intent

Teachers come from public, private, Catholic, charter, and homeschool settings with very different constraints. Disagree with ideas, not people. No sarcasm aimed at other members.

5. No selling

Do not advertise paid products, services, or referral links. Sharing a free resource you made is fine if it is relevant to the thread.

6. Keep it in the right space

Post in the grade band or product space that fits best. You can pick more than one. Use tags so the archive stays searchable.

7. Report, do not escalate

If something breaks these rules, use the Report link on the post. A moderator will look at it. Please do not pile on in the thread.

Thanks for being here. The archive you build together becomes the real value of this community over time.
